Ownext: a bilingual real estate website built from a brand manual
Domus Design Team · Updated October 8, 2026 · 4 min read
Ownext sells real estate in Cancún and the Riviera Maya to private investors, retirees and investment firms in the United States and Latin America. It needed to look as serious as the money involved, in two languages, and let a cautious buyer take the first step without a phone call.

The challenge
- Two audiences with different expectations: English-speaking investors used to US firms, and Spanish-speaking buyers across Latin America.
- A product that can't be bought online. The site had to earn a private conversation, not a checkout.
- No brand yet: a name and an ambition, but no logo, colors or voice.
What we built
- A complete brand manual first: belief, mood, a restrained palette, typography and a voice that reads like a private bank, not a listings site.
- A bilingual website (English and Spanish) with hreflang so each language ranks on its own.
- A live map of destinations, so investors see where the opportunities are before they ask.
- A four-step path from vision to ownership that explains the process to someone buying abroad for the first time.
- A private consultation form as the single call to action, with the studio notified instantly.
The result
Ownext launched with a brand that holds up next to established firms and a site that answers an investor's first questions in their own language. Every page, from the map to the form, follows the manual, so the next brochure, deck or post is designed in hours instead of days. It's the benchmark we hold our own projects to.
